I am interested in your Low Air Consumption Impact Wrenches? Tell me more about it.
Industrial air compressor consumes large electricity usage when working and therefore SCORPIO developed a further high
efficiency energy saving and carbon reduction air tools to not only cut down electricity bill, but also benefit to our customers,
environmental protection and social responsibility. We have spent the past few years dedicating to develop low air consumption air tools that consume less air intake volume when
working. This has greatly improved the effectiveness of the air compressor, work efficiency and achieved the dual benefits of energy
saving and carbon reduction and electricity savings. -

Use Tips – How often should I oil my pneumatic impact wrenches?
Drop few drops of SAE 10 lubricant in the air inlet every time before use.
Oil daily is necessary as the tools requires lubricating each day to help reducing or avoiding downtime caused by clogged parts. 10 cc each time, oil twice for heavy duty.
Remark: The best timings to oil are before work and after work every day.

Safety Issues – How to use SCORPIO pneumatic tools properly?
● Always read the instruction manuals that come with the tools in the box.
● Use dry and clean compressed air and make sure the air pressure is set accurately. Standard air pressure is 90 psi or 6.3 bar or 6.3 kg/cm2
● Be sure to discount the tool from the air source when undergoing maintenance and cleaning jammed fasteners.
●The air in the tool will turn into water vapor and rust the inner parts. Release the air in the air compressor before storage.
When storing the tool for more than one week, remember to inject 30~50 cc of SAE 10 lubricant and turn on the power with forward
and reverse with few second for cleaning purpose.

Innovative Mechanism – What is New Pin Clutch?
Our impact wrenches are designed with innovative New Pin Clutch mechanism which has better balance during performance.
What are the differences from Pin Clutch? (Why it is better than Pin Clutch?)
● New improvement hammer cam protects spring against the hammer pin.
● Special designed shorter hammer pin increases tool lifetime.
● Spring is made from special material that passed 1,000,000 times of endurance test.

How to Adjust the Rotation Tension of a Loose Rotor?
Place the “rear cover” and “rotor” on the board, gently use a hammer to knock on the inner ball bearing by following order
( see photo below1 -> 2 -> 3 -> 4 ) and check the tension. Repeat the steps until the rotor reaches standard tension value again. It is suggested to perform the maintenance by professionals.

How do I fix the oil leakage from my Torque Tester?
First of all, DO NOT lifts up the Torque Tester by its oil hose from the box. When the oil leakage occurs, vacuum all the air out of the hydraulic cylinder and refill the oil gradually.
This requires professional engineering technique with special equipment, we strongly suggest you to contact us first.

What are the differences between Electro-Less Nickel Plating and Hard Anodizing?
We use Electro-Less Nickel Plating for our parts because it has better technique when finishing. All the process is meet RoHS requirement.
You can easily see why Electro-Less Nickel Plating is better than Hard Anodizing from the chart below.
Their layer of hardness is 800-1000 HV, Also excellent for Abrasion resistance, heat resistance and spalling resistance. Corresponding, the process is much complex, take time and cost higher.
